Permanent Makeup
Take the next step: request your certificate for a Free Permanent Makeup Consultation and call us at (954) 565-7575 or toll-free at (800) 274-LIPO today to schedule your appointment to discuss permanent makeup at South Florida Center for Cosmetic Surgery with locations in Miami and Fort Lauderdale. A cosmetic tattooing process is used to apply colored pigment below the dermal layer of the skin. This process, known as "micro-pigmentation," permits a doctor or skin care professional to tailor the placement and strength of color at your chosen treatment site, giving you a custom result that looks great on its own or when enhanced with traditional cosmetics. Permanent cosmetics can help augment sparse eyebrows, highlight lips, or make eyelashes look thicker when used as eyeliner. Many women can benefit from micro-pigmentation. Women with allergies to makeup find that this is one of their few alternatives. Those suffering from dexterity difficulties or who have unsteady hands enjoy the freedom they gain. Athletes, swimmers, and women on the go in Ft. Lauderdale and Miami appreciate that permanent makeup is durable and does not require reapplication throughout the day or after exercise. Patients with facial irregularities or disfigurement find that the procedure can give a real boost to their self-esteem. Micro-pigmentation at the South Florida Center for Cosmetic Surgery is completed over the course of two visits. You'll spend about an hour to an hour and a half at the initial visit. During this visit, the majority of the tattooing is performed. At the follow up visit about five to six weeks later, the doctor will adjust pigment shape, color, and density as needed. This visit may take as little as half an hour. Our patients have remarked that the time spent upfront is minimal compared to the countless hours saved in front of a mirror. |
